David Beckham's hair

A keen look at David Beckham's hairstyle choices over the years.

The longer look

Beckham didn't keep this look for very long, which is understandable. A high maintenance style requiring frequent professional styling. Hair is left to grow, however, several cuts are required to prevent split ends and damage to the hair.

The ruffled look

Currently a popular low maintenance choice. Beckham has sported this cut on several occasions, and it remains a popular style. Hair is not clippered but cut in three different lenghts - reasonable long on top and gradually shorter towards the ears. A light wax or clay tends to suit this style best. Hair is ruffled, rather that neatly styled.

The faux mohican

An ultra modern choice, often bleached blond for emphasis. The cut entails shortened back and sides with gradual lengthening towards the top (in a rounded fashion). A longer length is maintained around the crown to the front. Requires pomade and styling towards the centre of the head.

The simple skinhead

A cut that David seems to revert to every couple of years. It suit his general face shape and is clearly easy to maintain. Looks to be a clipper length number 1, tapered at the back.
